SUNCOAST MCC NEWS FOR THE WEEK OF February 14, 2019
“Follow the Leader with Our Hands”
Join Rev. Vickie Miller
Sun. | Feb. 17 | 10 AM
As a carpenter Jesus used his hands to learn many lessons. Some of those same lessons would be applied as Jesus chose and built leaders to continue his earthly mission. Leading like Jesus includes giving our hearts and our minds to the passions and purposes God has created for us. The next step is to use our hands…in essence to dedicate our whole being and all that we DO to become servant leaders like Jesus.

SunCoast Family…..As we prepare for another year and consider our church’s budget and financial needs, let’s join together, pausing daily at 7 am and 7 pm sending this prayer to heaven:
Our precious Creator of the vast universe; You are our Shepherd and we shall not want. Thank you for our abundant blessings. We give to you our shortcomings, our deficits, our needs. Move in ways that only You can. Ways that bring you glory and honor. And we won’t forget to give you praise. In your many names, we pray.
Thanks to Dorothy Bays for writing this prayer & initiating this practice.
SUNCOAST MCC’S PRAYER WALL IS OPEN TO EVERYONE
At SunCoast MCC we have a Prayer Wall. It was created to provide a place for anyone to post a prayer request and/or to pray for others. Please date your posting. The Prayer Wall includes an area for answered prayers. You are invited to move your posting to this space when your prayer is answered. Those praying for you will celebrate your answered prayer.
